Happy New Year!!!
After a fun sleep over at Grandma & Grandpa's with their cousins we headed back to Hinsdale to finish packing and cleaning the house. It's amazing how many details have to be tended to before you exit the country for 6 months.
With 12 hours to go before we take off for Panama everyone is packed and ready except for me. I'm waiting until the very last moment to close my suitcase just in case someone forgets something. And trying to keep it under 50lbs.
Everyone is allowed one checked suitcase, one roller bag to carry on and a backpack. I tip my hat to my mother who always said "don't bring it if you can't carry it." Let's see if that will apply until July.
