Today was our first day really OUTSIDE the hotel. We visited the Panama Canal, where they are currently celebrating the 100th year anniversary of the making of the canal. We visited the museum and watched a cargo ship slowly make its way through the canal.
After, we drove to the Gamboa resort to ride an Arial tram cart through a rainforest. Our tour guide told us about some of the poisonous animals in the rainforest. We saw a poisonous ant, and our tour guide sail that she was bitten by the ant and was paralyzed. She also told us about how a Albino tarantula bit our her cousin and blinded her for two days.
It was very nice getting out the city and doing exploring for the first time on our trip!
